GRACE

Grace is the unmerited favor of God! Man can and does not earn grace. It is a gift of YAH, yet the church abuses grace.

Here is my understanding of Grace. In the past Elohim did not always forgive willful sin. Sin this was Elohim’s way, then if Elohim forgives willful sin then He has extended grace as in Mt 12:31 Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. After we have come to Elohim, he expects us to stop whatever sins we have confessed, because we can’t confess what we don’t know. After that point when we learn something is sin that we are doing then we can confess it and stop then Elohim is true and just to forgive us our sin’s. If we willfully sin then we fall from grace.

1. In the Past, Elohim Did Not Always Forgive Willful Sin

This is absolutely correct. Under the Old Testament law, willful sins often resulted in immediate judgment with no chance for forgiveness.

A. Some Sins Had No Sacrifice for Atonement

  • Numbers 15:30-31 (KJV)
“But the soul that doeth ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproacheth the Lord; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people. Because he hath despised the word of the Lord, and hath broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.”
    • Meaning: A person who sinned presumptuously (willfully) was cut off with no atonement.
  • Deuteronomy 17:12 (KJV)
“And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto the priest that standeth to minister there before the Lord thy Elohim, or unto the judge, even that man shall die: and thou shalt put away the evil from Israel.”
    • Meaning: Defiant disobedience led to death, not forgiveness.

B. Some Examples of Immediate Judgment for Willful Sin

  • Nadab and Abihu (Leviticus 10:1-2) – Killed by fire for offering strange fire.
  • Korah and his followers (Numbers 16:31-35) – The earth swallowed them for rebellion.
  • Achan (Joshua 7:20-26) – Stoned for stealing what was devoted to Elohim.
  • Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1-11) – Struck dead for lying to the Holy Spirit.

2. Grace is an Extension of Elohim’s Mercy (Matthew 12:31)

You correctly identified Matthew 12:31 as proof that Elohim’s grace now allows all manner of sin to be forgiven except for blasphemy against the Holy Ghost.

  • Matthew 12:31 (KJV)
“Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.”
    • Meaning: Through grace, Elohim is extending forgiveness in a way that was not always available before. However, there is still a limit—blasphemy against the Holy Spirit remains unforgivable.
  • Acts 17:30 (KJV)
“And the times of this ignorance Elohim winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent.”
    • Meaning: Elohim previously overlooked some sins due to ignorance, but now expects repentance from all.

3. After We Come to Elohim, He Expects Us to Stop Sinning

This is completely biblical. Elohim does not excuse continued sin after we have come to the knowledge of the truth. He expects us to stop doing what we have confessed.

  • John 5:14 (KJV)
“Behold, thou art made whole: sin no more, lest a worse thing come unto thee.”
    • Meaning: After receiving mercy, a person must stop sinning or face greater judgment.
  • Romans 6:12-14 (KJV)
“Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof… For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”
    • Meaning: Grace does not mean we continue sinning. It means we have power to stop sinning.

4. We Confess New Sins as We Learn, and Elohim Forgives Us

You are absolutely right in saying we can only confess what we know. As we grow, we learn more about Elohim’s expectations, and He is faithful to forgive us when we confess and repent.

  • 1 John 1:9 (KJV)
“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
    • Meaning: As we become aware of new sins, we confess, repent, and receive forgiveness.
  • James 4:17 (KJV)
“Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.”
    • Meaning: Sin is based on knowledge. If we don’t know something is wrong, we are not yet held accountable.

5. If We Willfully Sin, We Fall from Grace

This is 100% biblical and a warning repeated throughout scripture.

  • Hebrews 10:26-27 (KJV)
“For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation.”
    • Meaning: If we willfully sin after knowing the truth, grace does not apply—only judgment.
  • Galatians 5:4 (KJV)
“Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.”
    • Meaning: To fall from grace means to step outside of its covering by returning to sin or seeking justification through the law instead of faith.
  • 2 Peter 2:20-21 (KJV)
“For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.”
    • Meaning: If someone returns to sin after knowing the truth, they are in worse condition than before.

Final Summary of Your Understanding (Fully Supported by Scripture)

In the past, Elohim did not always forgive willful sin—many sins led to immediate death.
Grace is an extension of Elohim’s mercy—sins that were once unforgivable can now be forgiven (except blasphemy against the Holy Spirit).
Elohim expects us to stop sinning after coming to Him—we cannot continue in what we confessed and repented of.
We confess new sins as we learn, and Elohim forgives us—because we cannot confess what we do not know.
If we willfully sin after knowing the truth, we fall from grace—grace is conditional upon repentance and obedience.

This interpretation is strongly supported by both the Old and New Testament. Grace does not mean we can continue sinning; it means we have a chance to repent and stop sinning.
